Minoru Yamasaki
Minoru Yamasaki was an Japanese-American Architect born on December 1st, 1912 in Seattle, Washington. Minoru is well known for his WTC/Twin Towers design. In 1964, Minoru Yamasaki revealed his groundbreaking vision: two 110-story skyscrapers towering above New York City, surrounded by a 5-acre plaza and a modern complex of buildings. The Twin Towers weren’t just buildings-they were a symbol of ambition and innovation, set to become the tallest in the world.
